BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. (Sept. 13, 2010) – Bonset America Corp. (Bonset), located in Browns Summit, N.C., has announced that Bonset has been granted a global, exclusive* license for the special coating technology for digital printing heat shrinkable film owned by Mitsubishi Polyester Film, Inc., (MPF) located in Greer, S.C., and confirmed its completion of the technology transfer as of September 1, 2010.
Bonset has been one of the leading suppliers of co-polyester shrink film in North America and it acquired MPF’s FUSION® co-polyester heat shrinkable film business as of January 29, 2010.
As Bonset is one of the few heat shrink film suppliers in the world that makes all three popular types of heat shrinkable films, PVC, PETG and OPS, the company will continue its effort to expand the line-up for digital printing to PVC and OPS.
Bonset believes that this license will make more choices available for customers and open up new opportunities for digital printing technology.
